What brand dog food you feed your dogs?

Sierra gets the brand that roams around the Canadian prairies - called Whitetail & Mule Deer. Best brand out there, imo. This year, she may also get Moose [:D]

Right now she also gets some Purina One, because it was free and I'm poor (and last year's deer supply is running low). As of this hunting season, she wont be eating that anymore. [:)]

Right now between Canidae and Innova.....also meat, eggs, cottage cheese, fish/canned or fresh.

When I first came to this forum, we used to feed Nutro Large Breed kibble and home cooked.  But our GSD had atopy last year, and his skin was quite dry, so we had to switch.  A dog park pal told us that GSDs are sensitive to corn, which is in Nutro.

We tried Innova, but the diahrrea was unbeliveable, even though we did the slow transition.  We tried Natural Balance, the shedding was horrific on both dogs.  We tried Royal Canin Maxi, GSD formula, both dogs did well on that kibble and we fed home cooked daily.  Then the pet food recall came about and we had to switch.  Tried the Innova, again, with no success.  Tried Canidae and with a bit of time and a few loose stools, they made the transition.

Now they get the Canidae All Life Stages kibble and home cooked; Canidae canned, cottage cheese, fish -fresh or canned (salmon, mackerel, sardines) PM feeding.  Bedtime treat is plain yogurt, which they love, and it helps control the gas!

Canidae ALS.  We throw on some peoplefood or canned (currently California Natural some-flavor-that-reeks-of-fish) if he's been/being more active.

canidae lamb and rice here...seems they're getting sick of it now though. I've been through 11 40# bags.

Currently Canidae ALS but will rotate with Timberwolf Wild / Natural.  I used to rotate every other month then stopped when we began usuing Canidae cuz they liked it so much.  Sam is beginning to lose interest so I just ordered the TWO.  I will also get the Lamb and Rice Canida next time.

Blackwood 2000. very happy with it.
    • Gold Top Dog
Natural Balance Ultra Premium in rotation with Solid Gold Hund&Flocken. I am happy with both. Poop is a little less compact for one of mine on the SG but not enough to make me not use it.

Would love to try Innova & Canidae but those are not available in my area.

Mr allergy is currently eating SG Barking at the moon and Mmillenia
previously he was on TWO Ocean Blue and Bison formula
Would love to try the Orjen fisah but too darn pricey for the amount he eats
Currently debating ordering more TWO or SG.
Better coat on TWO better poop on SG

He also gets SG Green Cow tripe, and has a raw beef/fish meal (with whatever veg I have) every few days
He gets tuna/salmon/ sardines, yogurt,  or cottage cheese as toppers whenever

I'm lucky he doesn't seem to tire of any food [:)] or reject any, although DH is on a diet and came home with some strange all vegetable cheese ( no idea I was too weirded out to look at the label).  he gave Bugs a small piece which he happily shuffled off to go investigate and then consume and he spit it out.  I gave it back to him and he spit it out again.  Our very first rejection!

Have you ever tried Prozyme? If not, you should. Ella can have big mooshy poops (formed, but would smear when I tried to get pick them up with the bag) on Ocean Blue, but I added Prozyme and it firmed her poops right up. I've slowly cut it down and now barely have to use it.[:)]

My mini Daschound (Henry) loves Pup E. Luv  Pup E. Food. A friend of mine told me about it and I gave it to Henry. He loves the food and his coat looks awesome!

Abraxis eats Eagle Pack Enhanced Maturity, which was meant to be a transition food to get her from Kibbles n Bits to a better food... but she didn't handle the change well and she's doing great on it now, so I'm not going to press my luck by changing again.

Boomer eats Eagle Pack Holistic Select Lamb & Rice with salmon oil.

Wylie eats a rotation of Eagle Pack Holistic Select, Nature's Variety, Canidae or Eagle Pack Natural. He also gets salmon oil, Knox Nutra Joint, L-carnitine, taurine, glucosamine and MSM.

Shy gets either Bil-Jac dry or Eagle Pack Holistic Select with salmon oil.

Rotten gets any of the above mentioned brands with salmon oil.

They all get a morning meal of Nature's Variety raw medallions frozen in their Kongs. The kibble is their evening meal and is usually topped with a spoonful of canned food - EVO 95%, Canidae, Eagle Pack, Nature's Variety or Solid Gold.

KayCee gets purina one senior and Honey gets Purina One weight management.  They get about 2/3 kibble and 1/3 home cooked.
    • Gold Top Dog
Eagle Pack & fresh meat supplimented with a digestive enhancer.
FINALLY found an all around food that works well for all of our dogs and their needs. Plus it's great to know it will NEVER be affected by recalls

If you get to the point where you can't find Innova Evo locally, you can get it onine at Amazon.com or Onlynaturalpet.com.  You do have to pay shipping, but at least you'll still be able to get it somewhere.
