    Timberwolf Organics Ocean Blue

    Hi:
I was thinking of adding this TWO Ocean Blue to a rotation for my dog...
The reason is that it is grain free , but with less protein and Iodine than Orijen or Evo..
Has anybody tried this food and does anybody have any comments or opinions ??
    Thanks
    Wilbur..

Cherokee ate Ocean Blue for a couple months. She liked and did well on it. It's the only fishy kibble she's ever actually liked.

    ORIGINAL: Wilbur

I was feeding my dog Canine Caviar Venison and Split Pea but the store was out of it so I bought a mid-size bag of Ocean Blue.  I was quite surprised that my dog's shedding decreased noticably and her coat seemed thicker within about a week of switching.

I was not thinking the shedding was unusual because the temperature had been rising but the decrease in shedding was noticed by my whole family.  No real complaints with OB but the considerably higher protein level of the Orijen 6 Fish for a similar price (I think) has me interested.

Darn store was out of OB last time I went so I bought Nature's Logic's so called Duck & Salmon (not grain free but no barley or wheat).  I say "so called" because salmon is a lower on the ingredient list than chicken fat and clay.

Murphy has been on it for about a month. He loves it! I rotate TWO, EVO and Cal. Natural, and Canidae. The OB is a little too fishy smelling for me, but that's ok since I'm not the one eating it. [:D] His stools are nice and firm on it also.

My dog LOVES and does GREAT on OB.

She's on the Wild & Natural now.
