I can not see anyone taking a huge step backward from feeding something like innova,evo,natures variety etc etc and feeding science diet..... Gee, I bet there are more than enough people that DO feed super premium foods that still end up needing prescription diets.    The people on the dog forums are the ones that are most likely to feed premium but read the health pages...the dogs still get sick. Even if a dog did need one of the rx foods for say kidney problems,chances are the food would bring on other ailments aswell that the dog may not have developed had he eaten a more appropriate food. Wow...those are some BIG words!
