Honest Kitchen email

Hey Guys :)  Just wanted to post part of the honest kitchen email I got today.  It's nice to see companies, even those who "shouldn't" have any of the potentially contaminated ingredients testing anyway.

Speaking of the recall…

We'd like to let you know what we're doing to ensure our products are safe. While we have no reason whatsoever to believe that there is any risk of contamination to the products we produce, we have decided to add melamine screening to the list of QC tests that are already conducted on every ingredient we purchase, to provide complete assurance of our products' safety.

Effective immediately, all vendors who supply ingredients to our company are required to screen for Melamine as part of their routine testing. In addition, The Honest Kitchen itself will test finished products from every single batch produced, to prove that it is free of contamination. We commenced testing finished products this week using an expedited analytical service and already have a melamine-free certificate on file.

The new measures are being implemented autonomously, and independently of any government regulatory agency.

In addition to this new safety measure that the company has put in place, The Honest Kitchen is negotiating with several new suppliers of Certified Organic fruits and vegetables and wild-crafted herbal ingredients for use in its products.

Currently, we're experiencing a very large surge in demand for our products and inquiries from many new customers who are seeking out new, trustworthy options for their animal companions. We're delighted to welcome so many new customers and their guardians to our Honest Kitchen family.
To our many fiercely loyal customers who have been buying our products since day one - We appreciate your business and promise to continue providing excellent customer service and beautiful products, just as always.
