There goes the theory that using grain free canned food is safe;

Oh no [

] Why would they even add to this type of product - it didn't even need anything to be added to begin with.
I started an elimination diet for my girl last fall using canned rabbit and water bought from Wysong, but now I know it was made by Menu Foods. I couldn't get her to gain weight, and I got so many dented cans and cans that were not safe to use b/c there was so little product in the can before sealing, that I quit using it early March. Really bas quality control, IMO, and this was just before the fallout. I think she's o.k., tho, b/c we just did our yearly with a urine culture, so I am sure they would have seen the crysals if they were in there. And, I'm guessing that Menu didn't add it to their single protein source canned or I think they would have discovered it by now. But, my vet could have easily had me using the beaver produced by American Nutrition. And, I considered using this product to put weight on my guys after Rebecca talked about how many calories were in a can. Oh, no. Brookcove has used it with Ben.
Oh man, there isn't any labels you can trust.
