I bet 30 years ago, even less, this would have all been swept under the rug and most of us would never have know what had gone on. We would have assumed our dogs just died of a virus or something.
But today, thanks to the web and people who "know and tell" things get out and the companies have todo something, even if i is lie, they have to go public Then when caught in lie, they try to blame someone else.. etc.
Also today more people are fighing for the rights of dogs. They are not the old recliner to be replaced when broken.
And as a side, due to suits, national attention, etc, this may caused any human foods makers to think twice about trying to dupe the public into what their food is.
