I am just afraid to trust anyone at all. I think I will keep cooking and not have to worry, until the recalls are over for good. Then I would like to add kibble again to the food I make to know she is getting all she needs.  I will try to homecook correctly, I am learning more and more. Trudy sure LOVES her mealtimes!!!!! • dasher Posted : 4/27/2007 5:18:53 AM I agree this is all getting out of hand.  I fed NB until about a week and a half ago when their first recall came out.  I don't want to leave anything to chance.  I switched to Nature's Variety which is grain free. How can they be sure it is only the ocean fish canned for cats + dog food if they are relying on the word of the manufacturer that tampered with it in the first place?? Now I don't trust NB or Blue Buffalo- two brands I thought I could count on. • JoAnnDe Posted : 4/27/2007 6:37:01 AM I still have 5 cans of the NB Duck/Potato and NB Fish/Sweet Potato.  Along with 3 cans of Blue Buff.   I was going to add other NB varieties to the rotation but that "natural smoke flavor" ingredient turned me off (thank G-d). I'm getting sick to my stomach over these new recalls. I'm glad I went to homecooking a week ago - even my horribly unbalanced meals have to be better than poison.
