Chicken Soup and Diamond Canned Recall

Diamond Pet Foods has announced it is withdrawing a limited number of canned products manufactured by American Nutrition. This action is limited to three specific canned products: Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Kitten Formula 5.5 oz. cans, and Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Puppy Formula 13 oz. cans, and Diamond Lamb & Rice Formula for Dogs 13 oz. cans.

Diamond Pet Foods has not received any indication of quality or safety issues, including pet illness, with the three withdrawn products. However, because American Nutrition informed the company that these three specific products may include rice protein concentrate, Diamond Pet Foods felt this action was necessary for the protection of its customers and their pets.

Customers with these products should stop feeding them immediately and return them to their retailer for a full refund.

Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul dry pet food and dog treats ARE NOT part of any pet food or treat recall.

These products didn't include rice protein concentrate on the ingredient list either.[:@] [:@] [:@]

thank you again for keeping us so well informed. I was disappointed to see another listing.

How do they even get away with not listing ALL the ingredients, even. This is just a basic thing, and they weren't even doing that.

Is this ever going to stop?

I was feeding "Sensible Choice Puppy" to my youngest dog, and it was being recalled, I was scared........this just needs to stop..........[8|]

I forgot to add, thanks to all the folks who keep posting recalls............

I just fed some of the diamond beef and rice tonight.I know it hasnt been recalled but i dont think i will be feeding that again.We have gone through most of a case and noone is showing any signs of being sick.
This is just WAAY out of control.I feel like i am gambling with my dogs life every time i fill a bowl.

It looks like I'm not even going to rotate canned foods anymore. I'm going to just pick one and stick with it like I am with EP Holistic kibble.
