What do you feed?

I feed Timberwolf Organics kibble and canned.  I was rotating canned offerings mixed with the TWO kibble, but in light of recent events, I'm going to stick with one compnay for awhile.  Another brand that looks good to me is Orijen, but it's more expensive and hard to find.

I rotate between California Natural and Eagle Pack.  I like the results I get from both foods but my dogs poops
are smaller on California Natural.  No pudding poo on either one.  We had a big problem with soft poo for many months before finally finding Ca Natural.  We had tried many foods including Natural Balance, Chicken Soup, Solid Gold Wolf Cub and Merrick kibble.  It was just trial and error until we found something that worked.

I feed Eagle Pack Holistic. It's my favorite food all around of lots of different premiums that I've tried.

I feed Canidae Lamb Meal & Rice Formula.

My dog had diarrhea from the Natural Balance Ultra Premium too.  Before that he was on Canidae but it didn't agree much with him.  I tried a couple other premium dog brands with poor results.  So, now I'm sticking with Nutro Natural Choice lamb meal and rice.  Not the greatest out there, but he's doing well on it so I can't complain.

My chi eats all kinds of interesting things. I have a bit of a dog food buying obsession I guess you could say. He eats dry Innova Evo/Evo or innova puppy wet mixed for breakfast and Honest Kitchen Embark for dinner. I've also been throwing in some ziwi peak and nature's variety frozen raw I picked up last week to replace a meal every once in a while. He really seems to like those as well. I was worried for awhile about all the variety, but with some iDog encouragement I'm thinking now it's the best thing for him. I have a few home cooking books, I haven't used them to make meals but they have great treat recipies in them I've tried. I got the books at Barnes and Noble.

You can get samples of pretty much everything, including the honest kitchen. I usually try them first before buying them. I lost some money buying stella and chewey's raw since Otto wouldn't eat it

Canidae Platinum for my senior dog and Canidae All Life Stages for my puppy.

I feed mine Eagle Pack Holistic, chicken and rice. We have really good results with it.
 I have also fed the Diamond Naturals Chicken and Rice. It caused constipation in one of my dogs.
Purina One weight management for awhile to take some extra weight off Mattie and had good results with it.

ORIGINAL: Doggy_lover    I've been feeding my little guy Natural Balance Ultra premium Dog food for two weeks now and he hasn't been doing too well on it. It's been giving him diarrhea. So I've been looking for a good brand to feed him. What do you feed? Anyone feed homecooked?  Any advice is appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

 
I feed Abady granular.  I think it is the best.  No problems going over 5 years of consistent feeding of the same product.

I rotate between Canidae All Life Stages, Canidae Lamb and Rice, Nature's Logic (duck and salmon), and Innova Evo Reduced Fat combined with some more grain based products (because EVO has such high protein content). 
 
Nature's Logic is hard to find in our areas and gosh... it is very expensive, so, I don't buy too much of that.

I feed Innova all life stage

Chicken Soup Large Breed mixed with canned NB or  rice,baby food, chicken, veggies or anything else that is around here and is healthy.

I also feed timberwolf with a topper right now. I`m going to rotate with origen with a topper shortly.

I'm on Google looking up some of these brands as we speak. I was wondering where do you get some of these foods? I don't have alot of pet retailers in my area so I usually have to go to Petco or Petsmart. Do you order them online?
