Well a lot of people on this board like to follow the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach to dog food. If your dogs do well on it, then stick with it. However......look at those ingredients!! (taken from a bakers complete formula)
Cereals, Meat and animal derivatives (minimum 4% chicken and minimum 4% fresh meat in the soft moist kernel), Vegetable protein extracts, Derivatives of vegetable origin (1.1% charcoal in the dark brown kernel), Oils and fats, Various sugars, Minerals, Yeasts, Vegetables (minimum 4% vegetables in the green kernel). Contains EC permitted colourants, antioxidants and preservatives.
I personally wouldn't feed this!!! It just doesn't seem very healthy to me. If money is an issue, then there are many high quality dog foods out there at a more affordable price. I don't live in the UK so I don't know whats over there, but I'm sure someone else will come along with suggestions if you want to switch foods[
