glucosomine capsules

• glucosomine capsules smilee1079 Posted : 4/14/2006 4:52:15 PM I got 500 mg. glucosomine capsules for Zoe.  Since she cannot eat a capsule (too big) and I'd like to give her 250 mg. a day I think I need to open the capsule.  Is this ok?  Anyone have a good method of doing so?  Also, how should I store the other half of the capsule that I don't use until the next day.   Thanks in advance for any suggestions! They CAN eat the whole thing, and happily will, if I roll it in peanut butter, butter, or cream cheese. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!   Are these the capsules in the clear "plastic" kind of covering with powder inside?  If so, just hold the ends and twist & tug a little.  The capsule should open.  Then, put half in Zoe's food,  and put the capsule back together for the next day.  That's what the guy in the health food store told me to do when I first started giving Mick Biotin.  If it's a solid capsule, you can snap it in half and just put the half you don't feed back in the bottle for the next day. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
