There are a lot of things that could cause problems, though--being outside could get her bitten (edit) by spiders (which has happened, but I'm still going to let her go out to play and dig thru the leaf piles), she could find a piece of whatever in the grass that flew in from the neighbor's yard, etc. If we're not talking about the recall having to do with salmonella then... I mean, I really do appreciate the comment. Dweezil's about 2 and she's always had pig ears--never been a problem, she's never choked or had a hard time because of eating too fast, and she doesn't get them when I'm not around. I had a dog that lived to be 16 and ate a pig ear almost every day. Dweezil gets them maybe once a week. Thanks, though. It's just I think there are things that need to be paid special attention to (and if you read my posts I'm pretty obsessive about a lot of things with Dweezil) and some things, IMO, don't have to make me lose sleep.
