Recalled Cuts & Gravy Ingredients

I think most of us are wondering if other companies bought from that vendor and got the poisoned stuff.

I really believe (maybe I'm stupid) that this is a question that a lot of food producers (both human and animal) are looking for the answer to right now!

It's my understanding that the wheat was sprayed with this poison to kill rats.  My question is ... is this wheat raised only to provide the wheat gluten for pet foods or does it provide gluten for foods meant for the general population?  I know Menu only provides pet food, and it's bad enough that this crap went into that food, but what if that wheat was also grown to go into foods meant for human consumption? How would we know until we start dropping like flies?

Did you read that wheat was sprayed with poison to kill rats?  I had not..in fact this article said:
Bob Rosenberg, senior vice president of government affairs for the National Pest Management Association, said it would be unusual for the wheat to be tainted.
“It would make no sense to spray a crop itself with rodenticide,” Rosenberg said, adding that grain shippers typically put bait stations around the perimeter of their storage facilities.

Also, the Menu company has stated that not all of the ingredients were tested yet...there may be more to this than just the rat poison that is being blamed.
