    Best Raw Frozen Foods???

What raw frozen foods do you feed and recommend?
I am currently feeding several of the Nature's Variety raw frozen foods and would like feedback about others, i.e. Bravo, Steve's, Raw Advantage, Oma's, Aunt Jeni's Home Made 4 Life, etc. I like the NV raw frozen because it is so convenient and my dog seems to love it. I would like to try others so please post your thoughts.

What about Steve's Real Food for Dogs?  The shoppe I go to just started carrying it.  I'm not sure if I'd get it but just wondering.  [:)]

I tried Aunt Jeni's about a year ago. Pinky loved it, and did great on it.

My dog gets Bravo, and we recently tried Raw Advantage.  The Raw Advantage is not only visually gorgeous but smells great, too. It also seems to make her stools a little less hard, so I'll probably keep her on this.

Do you feed raw frozen with kibble? I don't want to go totally raw, nobody in my family would ever feed my dogs, LOL.[sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif]
I would love to mix a great kibble and frozen raw, possible?

I've tried NV, Bravo and Steves Real Meat.

NV makes her constipated so I mix about 50/50 with pumpkin and green veggies.  They enjoy the Steves Real Meat frozen nugets, frozen,,,,its a healthy treat. I think it was the Bravo, but can't swear on it, that the patties were stuck together inspite of the wax paper separators.  But they enjoyed that too.  I like the NV the best because the ingrediant list has so many good things in it and its still 95% real meat.

And by the way,  she lost 4 pounds on raw meat and veggies effortlessly.   It was a struggle to keep her weight down on dry kibble.  If she begs for more, I just toss her some more meat.

She looks great, slim and glossy coat, in spite of her newly diagnosed heart ailment.  I believe raw and fish oil saved her life

hummm. . .well, that's something I never considered when I was thinking of trying this stuff.  The last thing I need is for her to lose weight.

I feed mine FarMore's Buffalo Diet, mainly because he does well on the Bison in his kibble and the company is local (10 miles from here). Right now I feed 1/4 raw and 3/4 Solid Gold Wolfcub. Since he's still growing, I want to make sure his calcium/phosphorous levels are correct. Once he hits a year I'll switch him to half raw and half wolfking.

I had quite a discussion about mixing raw and kibble in a thread called "Benefits from a small amount of canned?"

Hi, Romeo did not like the NV, sad for me because the nuggets are convenient.  He loves the Bravo any of the meats, I don't use the patties because they stick together in spite of the wax paper.  Instead I use their tubs I think they call it, and they come in 1lb, 2lb and 5lb sizes....I switch the protein frequently, so he is not eating the same thing every day...he gets the chicken, beef, lamb, venison, ostrich, rabbit, duck and  turkey...some are blends (they come with organs, veggies, fruits and ground up bones) other are bases so you add what you want.  I live in Houston and I am very lucky that I found a store called bones2go...(the web page is [linkhttp://www.bones2go.com]www.bones2go.com[/link]) she carries, the NV, Bravo, Raw Advantage and Farmore....also all kinds of bones and organs.  For a real treat I stop at Whole Foods (organic food supermarket) buy some King Salmon or Tuna steak and he absolutely goes bonkers.  When I don't give him fresh fish, I give him Kronch Salmon Oil.
