Food Poll?

Hello, I thought I had seen a thread here where everyone reviewed all the top dog foods? I have my pup on Eaglepack Holistic for large breed puppies. Wondering if there is a better choice?

I think Eagle Pack Holistic is a great choice, ESPECIALLY for large breed dogs. One of our members here, Dyan, has a Great Dane; she feeds Eagle Pack and through her I learned that Eagle Pack is one of the best brands for large breeds. She'll probably see this topic and I'm sure she can give you a lot more info. [

] Forgot to add that I also feed Eagle Pack Holistic.

That's the one, thanks so much! And thanks for the info Luvntzus. I have been a bit concerned, as Heartly has been a bit itchy lately. Although otherwise he seems like he is doing excellent. I just spoke with someone at a fancy dog groomer's in the next town, and she said this is that time of year. She said he would benefit from the addition of something called Grizzly oil? What is it, and how much would I use? Heartly is now 12 weeks, 19 Lbs.

Grizzly oil is a type of salmon oil and there are all different brands out there. I personally use Timberwolf Organics Salmon oil and there are a lot of brands you should be able to buy locally if you don't want to order online.

Yes,,,Dyan DID read this....and I do feed Eagle Pack. I change off between the Holistic formuals and the Natural. Eagle Pack is the only food that was trial tested on large breed dogs in a home setting. Its a small company but they make their food in their own place rather than most of the small companies that use larger companies to produce their food. And they have great customer service.
