Oh I don't think they're innocent at all. They knew exactly what they were doing when they put the word 'organic' in their label, just like Beneful knew exactly what they were doing when they put pictures of vegetables on their bag. I've never fed TWO I have no opinion on their food, but let's not be naive about advertising and product advancement.

If people aren't smart enough to know that the word organic does not necessarily mean "certified orgnanic" it's their own fault. You could just as easily say that just because something is "certified organic" does not necessarily mean that it is healthful. Yet people always seem to assume so.
The old caveat emptor - let the buyer beware? So that excuses any industry from underhand practices since we should know better? So I take it you know about automechanics, medicine, home construction, electric work, dentistry, tailoring, etc Every profession known to man? Because otherwise you, like the rest of us, have to trust other people not to screw you. No one can possibly know everything about everything.
