Great Life offers dog food that provides exceptional nutrition in a delicious package. In test after test Great Life Pet Performance Products are rated as superior and effective, offering the highest levels of active ingredients.

With Great Life Premium Dog Food, you can feed a raw diet—straight out of the bag! It#%92s also very convenient for raw food advocates who travel with their pets. With raw food diets the nutrient profile is very high, and you know the food is "alive" and active; while the majority of premium dog food manufacturers utilize high heat during processing, which in essence, burns off the majority of needed nutrients.

Great Life enhanced their superior grain and potato free dog food with layered, freeze dried raw meat source and added raw greens, mixed sprouts (enzymes), tripe and pre and probiotics. The kibble is then enclosed in natural salmon oil, keeping all nutrients active. Great Life Dog Food offers the benefits of a raw food diet without the mess, expense and no refrigeration is needed!

I'm always weary of companies that I don't recognize. Check the bag, does it say "produced by" or "distributed by"? That will give you a clue about quality control. I'm also leary that the buffalo formula has ground buffalo bone as their 3rd ingredient. I'd like to know if the food is really 90% buffalo, or if the calcium is through the roof. For a relatively moderate protein and fat food, where are the rest of the calories coming from??? It just isn't adding up...

OT, but do you mean wary "cautious" or leery "justly suspicious"? I'm assuming you don't mean weary, really: "tired out" or "exhausted." I've seen this a lot lately and it always gives me a jolt. I'm only picking on you because I know you are in school and might appreciate knowing this before you use it in a scholarly paper. [:D]

Anyway, that's a really weird food. My gimmick spidey sense is going off big time. If I want my dogs' kibble "wrapped in raw food" I'll throw some organic beef or pork from my friend's farm, or local harvested venison, on it. Oh, wait, I already do . . .[;)]

I actually did notice that, but decided not to edit it because I always wonder what people REALLY said when they edit. Most forums I belong to don't allow editing because it keeps people honest.

I actually think I was trying to say both things, and had a little freudian slip... I've had over 30 hours of lecture in the past 4 days (Thursday to Sunday) and my brain just isn't functioning properly anymore.
