Fruit/Veggies?

    I'm not sure I like that list completely.....WATER????????   I mean if they are telling you to not feed your dog water out of puddles or lakes...fine,,,but not generalizing WATER...same with Cherries and Peaches and a few things like that.

    I can't imagine that there would be a toxic level of onion powder in baby food.

    BUT to me skin is nothing but fat, and I don't think there is much in it that is especially good for anyone. So I don't eat it...and for the same reason, I wouldn't feed it to my dog. 

     
    As far as the law is concerned, manufacturers are allowed to substitute skin for meat in their products.  So, when a company
    advertises their ingredient as "chicken" they are legally allowed to simply give you "skin" without your knowledge.  People can be easily feeding skin and not even realizing companies will do this; they don't have to tell you because their acting within the confines of the law.  True, skin is very beneficial for dogs regardless, but it clearly lacks in all the benefits of meat muscle.
