Nutro Natural choice puppy or Natural Balance for all stages?

• Nutro Natural choice puppy or Natural Balance for all stages? • Craig Posted : 1/6/2007 2:21:14 PM I fed my lab mix the Nutro Natural choice Puppy LB for a while and he did OK. I now feed Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Salmon. (he's 9 months). I changed foods because his skin was dry and had a lot of dandruff. His coat is now beautiful (after a month). His stools are also more solid and less frequent. I was also feeding him solid gold wolf puppy for some time (betwen the others) and that he did well on too. You'll find though that there's no one "best" food that people will agree on. It drove me crazy for awhile trying to find the perfect food because there are sooo many different opinions out there. In the end you just have to research different ingredients and do some amount of trial and error to see which food works best for your dog. You'll start getting some of the benefits of the higher quality ingredients right away and avoid a huge switch down the road. And you won't waste your bag. Natural Choice is an OK food but you'll see a difference (assuming your dog tolerates it all right) pretty quickly after you "upgrade".
