I went to my local feed store to purchase Ca Natural back in November, the 20lb bags had an
exp date of two days from then, so i got the smaller bag instead. I didnt mention the exp date to the clerk cuz it really wasnt exp yet. Two weeks later I go to get the 20lb bag and the same bags are on the shelf and now expired by like 10 days. I mention to the clerk this time and she checked in back to see if they had more, they didnt. Said they wouldnt get more til next week. I get the small bag again, go back next week (this past wed) and the same expired bags are on the shelf and still no new bags. This store is about 20-25min drive so I chose to get the chicken flavor vs lamb cuz the exp date on that one was late Feb.
I think I'll find another feed store to buy my Ca Natural from, I cant believe they still have those bags on the shelf after I pointed out they were expired. I would imagine they wouldnt take the loss but Natura pet would instead.
Sorry, Im not happy I had to make 3 trips out there. They do have the best prices in the area though. I guess Im paying the difference in gas [
