I picked-up a bag of the pork and sweet potatoe.
I wanted eagle pack duck and oatmeal but the local store only had a old bag.
I am trying to figure out what my corgi is allergic too and wanted to try a totally differnt protein and differnt grain.
Any one have any good or bad things to say about this food it is pretty new.
I was feeding him canidae ALS since a pup he is now 14 months old, then when the other two types came out chicken and rice / lamb and rice.I tried them but he still is having allergic reactions.

    Thanks,
    Sue and the fur crew

I have not tried that specific formula, but I am feeding the cat, chicken holistic.  They love it.  I gave a 1lb sample bag of the Chicken Organic dog to a friend (my dog is allergic to chicken).  Her dog is extremely fussy.  She said her dog loved the food and is now ordering it on line.

Actually, I was told by a client of mine who is a vet that duck dehydrates an animal.  I havn't read anything to back up her claim, but when I fed my dog Fromms duck and sweet potato, Joey started having really orange diareah like stools.  This vet claims that the duck was pushing the water our to my dogs body.  Who knows?  But if this is true, maybe pork would be a better option than duck. Also By Nature is a little less expensive than Eagle Pack, especially if you order it on line.

    Good Luck.

Weird, I've never heard that. Mine have always been ok with duck, but they've never had duck kibble. They are eating dehydrated duck jerky, for their lunch time treat, this week....
