    VIP pet food

Has anyone heard of this food? I saw some in the supermarket today and I picked some up for Gobi, he seems to like it a lot. It looks like a big roll of SPAM. I mixed it with some canned food and some of the homemade I cooked up for him and it was gone in about one minute!

Looks pretty good.  Actually it looks better than Natural Balance Sausage rolls - no wheat.  What supermarket did you get these at?

Is this food in Australia? I was just looking at the site.

It appears to be made at their factory in Yatala, Queensland, Australia.

According to their ingredients all the rolls contain wheat.

Here's the ingredients to their dry food.

: Australian Whole Grain Cereals (Corn, Rice & Wheat), Australian Meats & Meat by-products derived from Beef, Chicken & Lamb, Fish Meal, Animal Fats & Vegetable Oils, Micronised Cereal Flakes, Bran, Dried Vegetables, Salt, Parsley, Kelp Meal, Garlic, Honey, Natural Antioxidants, Complete Vitamins (A, D, E, K, B1, B6, Niacin, Panothenate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Choline, Biotin, B12) and Minerals (Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Selenium), Natural Colours.

Personally i wouldnt touch any of their foods.

I went onto the website the OP gave us.  This is the ingredients I found for their Beef and Lamb rolls.  Completely different from what you posted.

Ingredients: Beef, lamb selected cereals (barley, rice, bran), liver chunky vegetables, heart, kidney, garlic and fortified with essential vitamins and minerals (including calcium, iron and zinc).

Thats cos the ingredients i posted were for the "dry food" [;)]

Above every ingredient list for the rolls on the site is this:

Whole grain cereals (wheat) (Carbohydrates, protein, fibre) High quality fibre, energy and trace minerals.

I picked it up in a supermarket called City Super in Hong Kong. I kind of doubt that it would be easy to find in the states.
I looked at the ingredients also, it does say whole grain cereals on the tube but I don't think it's a lot. It really does look very meaty. A lot of chunks of meat in it and veggie pieces. The only realy problem I have with it is the chicken one actually has some feathers in it. So I think I'll finish up these two tubes and try something else. Gobi loves it though, his poops have become much more smaller than the usual land mines he deposits.
It keep thinking it's SPAM when I open the fridge, this morning I had a quick image of spam, fried egg and kim chee over a big bowl of rice....

I know, LOL! I was just imagining the fragrance. Kim chee is not a very common food, around here (most folks haven't heard of it) and it's too strong flavored for me.
