Thank you so much for listing the information about Grey's. They sound like an amazing breed. I love it because they are so unique. I don't think I have ever seen one in real life. I think the closest I have came is a Whippet...they kinda look like little Grey's! Anyway, I would love to see one and that is so great that you have adopted the "special" ones. They sound like the cutest, most entertaining pups ever!
Rachel- Totally thought of you last night when I was volunteering. I had just written yesterday about how greys are so quiet and they don't jump and don't have a lot of annoying habits. . . .and last night there were 4 dogs boarding that would't stop barking and jumping up on me when I took them out top potty and give them love[

]
It is the exception rather than the rule though and I know that most of them act very different when boarded versus at home. I think they were just very lonely as their parents are in japan for almost a month and they got there when JJ and Pru were still boarding [&o]
Also...I find myself analyzing every dogs poop more since our poop reports! [

]
I use to just check it for worms or blood and make sure they don't have diarrhea, but now I find myself comparing the consistency with what JJ and Pru have, the color, the odor and all of that

OK, so Max and his poops are doing great! One thing I noticed today, though that totally reminded me of you Shelly! I had given Max a few more carrots and green beans with dinner last night. Well, this mornings poop was stinky! He never had the farts or anything on those veggies, but the poop seriously contaminated the air! [
] I even saw a little pea from the inside of the green bean in the poop...yummy details, huh?! [
] The poops were formed, not quite as firm, but not mushy either.
[sm=lol.gif] See what I mean about stinky poop!! [

] I know that when I don't add anything to their kibble it has much less odor, but adding stuff in really effects the smell. My pups seem to do worse on canned than anything else, but they had very smelly poop on the collard greens (and obnoxious gas[:'(])
You may find that crockpotting makes his poop more stinky in general or it may be worse with the veggies. For me, while I don't like the smell at all, I can handle it if their poop is a good consistency. Maybe after 14 weeks of stinky pudding poop on the last food I can deal with the smell more.
OK...so today I am gonna pick up a 4 pound bag of ocean blue from the store and then I will see how it goes over the next week. If the

oop is OK, then I will probably order a 16 pound bag along with my usual 33 pound bag of bison. Also, I am SERIOUSLY considering buying the 16 oz container of salmon oil form TWO. I know that the oil in that doesn't taste like salmon that you get out of a can, but my picky cat just is loving the salmon and eating every bite of whatever I put it with. SO that got me thinking that maybe I should add in a couple drops of salmon oil into the wet cat food and he would actually be a better eater??? I need to research it to make sure it is OK for cats to have salmon oil (i don't see why not though).
If I order it then I will give JJ and Pru some oil once a day and I will be able to let you know if there is any difference in their coat or not.I was hoping that when I put my order in next week that the TWO canned will be available, but I don't think it will be ready to order yet. You should be getting your replacement bags soon!
