I am DYING over the wide poop topic! Only true dog lovers could have this kind of in-depth conversation about dog poop![sm=rotfl.gif]
Twin- now that you mention it. . . YES they are much wider on TWO. My babies don#%92t seem to strain though, but their#%92s is never really, really hard (not dry poop….still pretty moist, but well formed). Does that make sense or did I confuse you??
Not sure what the reasons are though.
I have definitely come to an understanding of my pups poop since boarding them. Apparently they had perfectly firm poop every single time in the kennel while boarding for 7 days. But at the kennel they don#%92t get any walks, just turned out onto a concrete area for about 15 minutes 6 times a day to do their “business”. I know that at home I sometimes notice they have “excited poop” when we go someplace new or something, but I think more often than not, their “excitement” effects their poop. There is nothing “exciting” about pooping at the kennel, so all is perfect every time, but at home, their poop is not as consistent.
Oh well. . . I am happy because it is MUCH better than on Pinnacle and their coats are doing well and JJ#%92s allergies are under control.

Twin- Glad the pup liked fish!! I would try the salmon a couple times a week and see what happens. I am still undecided about adding the salmon oil. I defiantly don#%92t want to do it until I find out if the Ocean Blue formula is going to go over well (poop wise), since the elk wasn#%92t a good one. Once I have their dry formulas figured out and maybe some of the new TWO canned food (yea!!!) I might consider trying the salmon oil. I just don#%92t want to add in too many different things right now, but maybe in a couple of months. Their coat is still continuing to improve…looks great!
Carol- hope things are going OK for you and your family. Thanks for responding to these threads and for giving us an alternate way of contacting you if we have problems.
