well, one would prefer NO ash in the diet.
One would NOT prefer no ash. The ash is the mineral content of the food. First of all, it would be impossible for there to be no ash, and even if you did somehow remove it, can we say mineral deficiency? No calcium, phosphorous, iron, magnesium, potassium, etc? Yikes.
