3y/o Pitbull wont eat....?

• 3y/o Pitbull wont eat....? dog owner 2021 Posted : 7/25/2006 10:29:45 PM Hey yall.  I had my pitbull/husky for 3 yrs.  We have always fed him both dog and human food. for the past month or so he has not been eating the dog food at all. he only eats human food now.  if we give him a can food or some dry food he wont touch it.  he seems to be getting too skinny cuz i can see his ribs but he still acts normal/healthy. he runs around and stuff and is very active. any suggestions? thanks LIKE 67 REPLIES 5940 VIEWS LAST POST CHEWBECCA Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. Decide how much he needs. Put a bowl down, for 15 minutes, 2-3 times a day. When the 15 minutes are up, remove the bowl. No treats. No snacks. No people food. • dog owner 2021 Posted : 7/25/2006 11:48:20 PM i usaly give my dog a main meal at like 8-9 pm and give snacks throughout the day. Get a large platter or dish that is about a inch deep and fill it with water, then place the food bowl in the middle of the platter, the water will create a mote around the food. The ants can't cross the watter and you don't have to worrie about the food going bad because of ants. I know I can't really change your mind on keeping the dog outside verses inside but at least get him on soom really good food. Feed him his meals am and pm,cut aout ALL treats until he is eating properly.
