Solid Gold BATM Portion Sizes

• Solid Gold BATM Portion Sizes PurplePets22 Posted : 7/25/2006 8:28:07 PM On my bag of BATM it states that 1 cup weighs 3.29 ounces and contains 400 calories.  My kitchen scale says it weighs 4.5 ounces (after subtracting the weight of the measuring cup itself).  So which is it?  I just emailed Solid Gold and asked.  I will let you know what they say.  Anybody else notice this? • PurplePets22 Posted : 7/26/2006 2:34:12 PM so here's the response....   The unit of measure is 1 8-oz (fluid oz) cup, not a weight measurement. Fluid oz are not the same as weight oz, the oz referred to on the bag is a volume, not a weight measurement.
