Grandma Lucy's - anyone try it or use it?

I bought a 3lb bag of Grandma Lucy's pork freeze dried food and am wondering if anyone has used it or is feeding it. It seems a good product although too pricey to feed my guy regularly I would consider using a bag here or there to break up the monotony of fish kibble for him.

I have used this in rotation, not so much, anymore, as I find the product to be too inconsistent, as far as the amount of actual meat that is in each bag. It tends to be very heavy on potato, so I did add fresh meat when feeding---in the end, it seemed too pricey for a bag of mainly potatoes. For your needs, as supplemental feeding, I think it would be fine. Dogs liked the taste, and it rehydrates quickly, which is nice.

so is the only meat the large chunks? If so there's no way it has the amount of protein in it that it says it does. I presumed that some of the flakes were meat as well

Meat is the #1 listed ingredient so there must be more meat (by weight) than potato.

Yes I know that, still there are very few of these chunks of meat. Regardless, he's loving it and the bag will only last a few days
