Can anyone recommend me some healthy and inexpensive dog food for my new Westie pup?

Inexpensive is relative. :) I would suggest you stay away from the cheapest foods since you have to feed more which means bigger stools. You can look at some sites for detailed info on dog foods. dogfoodadvisor.com and another is dogfoodproject.com

Do you have a price range?
There are several good brands. I myself have fed chicken soup, taste of the wild, california natural, and merrick.

Thanks for the advice, I have had a look around and found Arden Grange dog food, what do people think of this brand and its food in general, any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.

I like that it has 30% lamb meal but Maize is corn and not an ideal grain for a breed prone to skin issues. Also because the rice and corn are second and third on the ingredients list you're looking at a food with more grain than meat in it.I don't live in the UK but in the US the best foods for the money are usually found in feed stores where farmers and horsemen go for grain.

I'm assuming based on that, you are in the U.K.? Is that correct?
