Many of us have older dogs and I thought this article would be of interest. Monica posted it in the K9 Kitchen forum;

I'm thinking about printing the article and giving it to my vet; couldn't hurt. I already give Jessie fish oil for her allergies and her triglycerides, and coQ10 and vitamin E because they were recommended by a veterinary neurologist in case her LP was related to a neuropathy.

All the dogs I've had with heart issues I've done all those things. Both of them were essentially on cancer diets (prevention) and all the anti-oxidants, etc. were part of the diet we'd worked out. But a lot of that I *did* learn from Monica.
