    Blaze passing gas

Blaze for that last few weeks has began passing gas, she eats the same puppy food she always has. When we first brought her home at almost 7 weeks old she was on Eukanuba puppy. but we slowly mixed her food with Kirkland puppy formula, which is exactly the same as Eukanuba. kirkland puppy formula is what she eats now,and has for monthsShe is now 5 months 1 week old. Any insight will help. heres the ingredience of Kirkland puppy formula which is made by the Diamond company.

You may be using a different definition of "Gastrointestinal health" than the manufacturer.  My suggestion would be  to finish the bag and if the problem remains, try a different food.  I know some foods give Piper the ability to lower my heating bills in winter.  My office is small, and a spark could be dangerous when she is sleeping in here.

Is there a difference in the amount of fiber? I had Jessie on a food that was 2% fiber and she passed gas every day and her stomach made rumbly noises. It stopped when I changed her to a food that was 4% fiber. Sometimes dogs need a little more (or less) fiber in their diet.

Its just that she was doing so well on it, then poof ( pun intended) she starts ripping em.

what about different treats?  or is she may be getting into something outside?  depending on where you live it may be rabbit poop or deer poop or even some grasses.

Bugsy forages for all of the above and they are the likely sources of his gas.  If the food hasn't changed I'd be more inclined to think it comes from some other source JMHO

I know with Willow egg or anything like egg product eaten on any sort of regular basis will cause this problem. (just to give you something else to possibly point too)

When we had Layla in puppy training she sometimes would just about stink me out of the car on the way home from class because we had used a lot of treats for training.  It wasn't hard to put two and two together, too many of that specific kind of treats that I was using = gas attack.

I was under the impression that MOST of the Bully breeds, had a penchant for breaking wind? Bulldogs, pits, BT's, Boxers even.

IME gas in a pup, can be tied to overfeeding. Maybe look at her body condition and how much is going in. That said, whenever I use the Diamond Nats the gas goes up around here...probably the beet pulp.

Well we live in the city, in merced ca, all fenced in, but she does chew on some grasses, then pukes it up later, so does our GSD Jake.

same food....so we`ll see what happens, Blaze is 30 lbs @ 5months and 1 week old. Shes not fat by any means. Thats a recent pic of Blaze on our couch.

    Thanks for all your suggestions.
