Best place to purchase Perscription Food on-line? (BTmomma)

The last 1.5 years I have had Bailey on a limited ingredient diet... but due to recent events, she has to be put on a Kidney Diet... I usually bought her limited ingredient food from PETCO....

But for the Kidney Diet, I will be getting a perscription... Any websites that had good prices for the food?  If so, please share! Also, any good treats for dogs on this diet?

If you are interested in the recent events this week for Bailey and why she will be on this food, read here:

I always buy RX food from my vet. I use the cans, though, for the most part, and shipping is just too high. I hope Bailey does well on her new diet!!

I did that the first few times with her allergy food, and the vet matched the prices but they never had it in stock and always had to order it and would take a few days, so I started her on the limted ingredient food and she did good on that... I know they would match prices I find on line, so that may be the route I go with this diet as well...

    Thank you =)

If you are open to it, TCVM does marvelous things for renal disease/early renal failure.  The earlier you begin to treat the more success you have.  TCVM is acupuncture and herbs -- I've used it with several dogs (Billy included) who have had severe renal issues.

http://www.tcvm.com is the Chi Institute -- many of these folks are teaching vets at the University of Florida.  On the left is a locator -- by state or zip code (and there are some awesome TCVM vets in Texas!!  Amanda uses it on Bevo and her crew.  If you are at all close to her she may be able to recommend someone specifically).

I **do NOT** mean to leave your vet -- this is 'complementary' therapy -- literally in addition to your regular stuff.

But I've gotten diets from TCVM vets that are awesome -- It can really be a wonderful alternative.

If you're willing to cook, Monica Segal can formulate a kidney diet for Bailey ;  http://www.monicasegal.com/catalog/consultations.php

She designed a diet for Jessie when she was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, and my vet said the diet was excellent.
