Teddi finished her rally novice title this past weekend. I am SO proud of her, it is her first non dock jumping title! She did really well, on Saturday she had a score of 98, was the 1st place golden retriever (specialty) and 4th place all breed in the class. On Sunday she got a 93 (mom couldn't keep her feet still) and was again 4th place all breed, and 2nd place golden retriever. I was so pleased with her.
Now I think I am going to try for her beginner novice obedience title. I plan to earn that in 2011, she can do all the stuff now, but needs to learn to sit still for a stranger to pet her. I think I may work Teddi and the puppy together on that title. We will see. My friend suggested that I do so both can show together in A. Then after Teddi completes that title or if necessary while we work on that title, I also want to aim for her CD. In 2012 the Golden National will be in St Louis. I hope to have Teddi (and Gabby?) finish their CD's at National.
Teddi will always be limited with how far she can go, now that she can't jump at all anymore. However that does not mean I am not the proud mom. She has overcome several obstacles in her life already and she still comes through when she can.
Now she is Casino Farm's Reddi Teddi RN!
