Interesting Phone Call

I had an interesting phone call this afternoon. A lady from the place which manufactures Volhard NDF/NDF2 called me in regards to my 'negative' review. I had written about the reactions the bichons had and then later how Echo's coat pretty much fell out and was ruined. Not to mention the insane itching and scratching.

So she suggested I write an email to her which she would forward to Wendy Volhard. So I did. I said that it seemed like my dogs react to the brewer's yeast and Echo just does not tolerate grains at all. So my idea would be a root veggie based ndf type mix (to which you add your own meat to balance it).

We'll see if anything comes of it. But then I am of the "don't stir up trouble" type. I should just keep my nose out of things and stop doing reviews I suppose.

LOL, gosh I can relate to your (don't look at me) remark lol. I have anxiety issues myself and a general need to please everyone, so they don't thnk poorly of me.

Think of this as an oppertunity to maybe make a real difference in a companies methods. Maybe nothing will come of it, but it may spark them to try to better suit the dietary needs of dogs out there who CAN'T tolerate grains (such as my girl Ari). Personally, I think it's really cool that a company cares enough and takes seriously enough the reviews left for them to actually call a customer about their review.
