I was suggesting a kibble (Orijen) to one of my customers' who's currently using Abady Lamb and Rice Formula but she praises the stuff like it was the best thing since sliced bread. I read the ingredients and although I liked that it didn't contain much plant matter I didn't like that it used rice, plant oils and "natural flavors" aka msg.
Then she presented me with an article that Robert Abady wrote himself and it had some valid points (like feeding offal and bones which I agree with for complete nutrition because I feed wannabee prey model) but I'm still not entirely convinced that this is the pinnacle of kibbles. The article is a bit too scientific for me to comprehend so perhaps some experts on this board can chime and offer their 2 cents and translate it into normal terms for us normal folks ;-). Thanks everyone!
Here's the article, it's a bit long so spare a few minutes to read it entirely: http://therobertabadydogfoodcoltd.com/how_to_choose.htm
