Have you tried it? Did you like it? Why?

Just looking for a boost to their dental care. They get teeth brushed, and chewies, but Jewel is still needing a dental after 10 months.

If it's the one that looks like shake cheese I've used it many times. I honestly didn't see any spectacular change in her teeth but it did help the breath a little. And, she liked it so much and the enzymes cannot hurt so I kept getting it for her. You can brush with it but I never used it that way.

Thanks, Lori. I may try it. I know they'll love it. The vet wants me to use Oravet on Jewel. If it'll stretch her to over a year, I'll do it. I hate having her sedated.

Oravet gave Pirate the worst upset tummy, ever. I still have the rest of the package. If I thought it would ship, I'd mail it to you.

I had never heard of Oravet but it looks interesting. I wonder if they have to have the dental before they can start using it. I've tried the PetzLife Gel and Willow just HATES it and it does smell weird to me too so I stopped it. The bones work really great but that's the only thing so far.

I tasted it and it had a strong alcohol taste, so I decided not to use it on Jessie. I read on a Yorkie forum that some vets caution about using it because the label doesn't say how much alcohol is in it. I may try the Wysong treats too.

ETA; I checked the Wysong website and they are too high in fat for Jessie.
