Kenya's been "retired" for about a year, I've been trying to find something that is very enjoyable and stress-free for her. Three times now I've had her along at SchH club and done a puppy track, and each time she has taken to it like flies on a poo. Genetically I think she is far more suited for tracking than Nikon. She has great hunt drive and is very calm and methodical. I feed my dogs off the ground one meal a day and this is always Kenya's favorite part of the day (she howls and does flips while I'm getting the food out). Her father was a very strong SchH dog, multiple 100 pt tracker. I've decided to train her more consistently for this. Our TD thinks if we stick with it she could do a TR1 this fall (when we are hopefully having a club trial).
