halo dog food

Ok even I am impressed with this food and I cook for my pets. I don't think you could get any closer to home cooking than this. If you choose to you can find recipes on their site under resources that are taken from their recipes and make it yourself. I have never seen a pet food company go this far. If you are thinking of changing foods this is one you may want to look into.

Ok PETA came to mind when I heard of this food...do they endorse it or something? I could very well be wrong but I like the food but wont buy it if its associated with that group. anyone feel like reseaching it with me? Im going to google now. Seems like im dedicating this day to dog food brands lol

Ahh I think I found out why I connected it to PETA...Ellen Degeners has alot to to with Halo and she supports PETA. Right? or did I stumble on some wrong or old info?

Halo makes Spots Stew - with is OWNED by Ellen (I believe).

I've fed it (have not PAID for it) and my dogs did well on it. I would never pay that much for a bag of food, no matter how good it is.

Although - I am very impressed with the new stamps - and I think it's a great thing that they are doing. their plant is located not too far from my house - they've ALWAYS been very generous in their donations of food and things to the shelter I work for.
