Shark?

Weird question.... Can dogs eat shark meat? My uncle goes saltwater fishing often and he asked me if I wanted some leftover cuts of shark meat cause he knows I feed Bailey a raw diet. Ive never heard of anyone feeding shark meat to a dog, so I wasnt sure if I should give him any or not.

I probably wouldn't offer it raw. Raw fish can be touchy. But, yeah, I'd offer it to them! Free meat is free meat! LOL

I have no idea about this.... I've become wary of fish after the salmon incident ((sigh)) but, I would NOT recommend googling "shark for dogs". Turns out there are very bad people in the world.

Hmm... Would it be OK if it was cooked? Im not even sure if he will like it or not, he is really picky with fish. He will eat certin kinds & not others, so its worth a try.

Honestly, IDK. DH loves fishing (and does tournies often). When he comes home with extra stripers I usually cook the filets (in a frying pan) and mix it into the dogs food.
