    Centrium Vitamins

Any one ever hear of giving your dog Centrium Vitamins???    I was just reading an article on home cooking writen by Dr. Ron Hines....very very interesting.....but he said you can use Pet Tabs.....or Centrium...or generic.  Said that zoos have used them for years for their animals.

I don't think I have heard of human vitamins for dogs....

I did hear that once a while back.  Dyan, I forget where I read it.  But, I think it was Centrum Jr, the one for kids.

I just give Willow Pet Tab Plus.

You know...I don't even know about Pet Tabs. The Great Dane Lady told me years ago to not give Ollie any vitamins when feeding him a high quality dog food so we threw out what we had and I've never looked into them except for a big bottle of some kind of expensive vitamins that a vet talked me into when Bubblegum got sick and they missed that diagnoses, and I never got even one down her...so gave them to by friend who probably threw them away. Wish I had them now..... I think Gibby needs to be on them with me feeding him home cooked meals.

Huh....funny...I would not have thought that human vitamins are good for a dog.

My little girls get NuVet, and Emma got Petmeds Ultra Vita Chews. Read the label on the human vitamins. I know a lot of them have colorings and preservatives that you're working hard to avoid feeding to him.

Good tip.......and I wouldnt' doubt that the cheaper generic forms would have it too.
