Jewel is doing GREAT at this obedience game. I expect her to be ready for rally novice when we go to Perry, in April. Last night, I loaded the clicker, with her, because she's getting a little confused, and I thought the clicker could clarify, for her. She was giving constant eye contact after the second click. Awesome!!!
She now consistently heels, auto sits, stays (walk to end of leash or circle around her, or about ten feet in the house), downs, fronts, and finishes left. Oh, and watch me. She does it all very happily, tail up and usually wagging. She has also become a completely confident social butterfly (from a shivering mess, in October). Yesterday, she had a crowd around her at Petsmart (where she has never been, and can work) and she ATE IT UP. She is very natural, with people. I'm going to get her therapy dog cert, and put off Bean's until she's more mature. Thought you all might like to hear of her progress. It's going incredibly FAST. I am thrilled, for her.
