Well, Caleb is on a grain and beef free diet, so it would be a no go for me.

    • Gold Top Dog

It's Merrick.  As far as I'm concerned that's a major negative with the QC issues.

    • Gold Top Dog

Tell me about the QC issues.

I suppose it reads fine, but the barley and yeast in it would do terrible things to my girls' skin. Not someting I could feed.

Forum members have reported finding chunks of heavy plastic, shipping staples, etc in their food.  They also had a recall on the canned chicken wing dings since some "brain surgeon" didn't bother to take the wing clips off before sticking the wings in the cans and processing the things....

There have been other things as well, but I don't recall all of them.  I DO know that they own a rendering plant which is of concern to me.

And yes, supposedly this is all in the past, but, they seem to be repeat offenders and I just don't trust that company.  Not with my dogs health.

Glenda, the EP is getting a little pricey for me. I know you feed BB. What line? As far as I know, Toots isn't allergic to anything, but she tends to gain weight easily. Thoughts?

I haven't tried the longevity line yet- but I've tried most of the others! We've had good luck with all of them - although Casey prefers the fish. I'm feeding the wilderness duck right now, he eats it - but wasn't crazy for it at first. his favorite seems to be the fish - I'll have to look for the longevity - I think he'd like it!
