Here's my homemade treat recipe I cook for my girls. It makes a
really big batch. Really fast and easy to put together & cook.
LIVER & OAT TREATS
Puree in blender or food processor until smooth and pour into large bowl:
1 lb. liver (chicken, beef or pork)
2 eggs
ADD: 1 c. flour & 3 c. oats.
Mix well until all dry ingredients are moistened with the liver/egg. Spread onto greased 13x15 cake roll pan.
Bake at 350º for 12-13 minutes. Allow to cool almost completely.
Cut into small bites with a knife. They're inclined to stick to the pan a bit, so use metal spatula to slide underneath
to successfully remove from pan. I freeze them in a gallon Zip-Loc bag and just defrost
a handful or so at a time in a smaller Zip-Loc. These should always be refrigerated.
The dogs just LOVE these!
