Last night, I was at the pet store near me that sells all the holistic foods you can think of. I was next to a couple and this is what I heard as they were looking at Canidea Snap Biscuits--
husband--we should get him some of these
wife--looks at ingredients (I was impressed, never see anyone but me doing that),
reads them aloud and says, but it's too much, it's supposed to be a treat not a meal
husband--well, that's why you're supposed to break them
I did not know how to take that conversation. "It's too much, . . ." it sounded to me like she thought the ingredient quality was too high for a snack.
I thought he was thinking calories.
What do you all think and have you ever thought that the ingredients in a snack were too "good"??
