dogs that needed their teeth cleaned? dogs that needed their anal glands expressed? These are all nutritional problems.
Just a question. How are those last two nutrition related? Maybe it's still because of her past life, and damage done, but I can feed Teenie 100% raw, no veggies, and her teeth still build tartar like crazy. She doesn't have much enamel. Of course, the vet blames her age and breed. I blame inappropriate chewing, at some point.
Emma has to have her anal glands expressed every couple of weeks. She's on a reduced protein homemade diet. Her immune system isn't good enough for raw, and she doesn't break down bone. She's never been able to break down bone, and doesn't even get recreational bones, now. Last bone she had cost me $400 and could have cost her life.... Anyhow... how are her glands, that have done this since she was a very young puppy, related to her diet?
