I do give her DogZymes in her kibble each meal, and it says in their brochure that "a single dose of DogZymes is equivalent to 80 cups (yes,,,cups) of yogurt or more."

Wow, lol, yeah I was thinking of giving yogurt because of the cultures, maybe I'll just look into probiotics instead, do you know if there are any that you can get at Petsmart? Or Pet Supplies Plus?

Enzymes are great, but so is yogurt.  I would say do both.  Yogurt is something with lots of health benefts while enzymes are great for assisting the system with digestion and absorbtion.  As mentioned above... the enzymes may be best used on and off so the body doesnt become too dependent on them.

I give Jetta whole milk yogart made for babies. It comes in vanilla and banana flavor and its also organic. She usually eats it on her kibble, but sometimes she doesn't want any. Weirdo dog!!

Probably could get them at a pet store. I get mine over the Internet from Natures Farmacy. I used to get them from a neighborhood Natural Pet Store..but I think they tried to sell me an opened container  the last time I bought them from them so I went straight to the company to purchase them.

Gee, I have never heard of this before. Since I do feel it very important to give my Dane probiotics every day.. do you know where you have heard this fact?  Wonder if you can direct me to your source of information as it is probably something I should find out for sure.

We feed our Giant Schnauzer a couple of tablespoons a day with a little bit of flaxseed oil mixed in. She loves it, no problems with it either. Funny thing, she will only eat vanilla from a particular grocery store.
