    I use the canned tripe because it's all I can get for the price.  I get really good results on just that.  I'm sure it would be better if I could get the raw but I can't afford it right now - on comparing the price I have to figure in shipping frozen which usually costs as much as the product again, or more.

    Just mentioning this for people who maybe can't get the frozen raw locally, can't store 30 pounds of frozen tripe, or like me can only afford canned.

    what I like about greentripe.com is that they will ship whatever you want there is no minimum,   I usually get the 1 lb rolls and they do not take up any space, but you are right sometimes is just does not add up.
