Nutro Ultra or Canidae....is their much difference??

Soooo Sorry everyone this reply is late , PC been on the blinks [sm=banghead002.gif]  fixed now though.... lets hope!! Anyway, once again everyone Thank You ALL Sooooo Much for your inputs. I've now though got yet another problem, it's food a allergy ( I'm  99.999% sure) so I'll put it in a new post about it once I'm finished .  To quickly answer Skeltor's ? No, I  don't live in Louisville, I'm about 4hrs. south of there, near Bowling Green. Have you ever heard of it? I've searched everywhere & the nearest place to me the web found was Louisville that carried the Canidae. I don't know what formula of Canidae you're going to try, but if you shop at Amazon the Lamb and Rice formula (all size bags) are on sale. I got a 40lb bag for 18.99.

You will also save more going through Amazon (even if you use the 25% coupon at Pet Food Direct) because their shipping is much cheaper - I tried it through both Amazon and Pet Food Direct and it still came out "cheaper" through Amazon.

Just trying to help ya save some $$$$. I know every bit helps me..I've got 3 mastiffs, a boxer, and a French Bulldog to feed ..and boy can they eat!![]
 
ETA: The Lamb formula is also on sale through Pet Food Direct, but again shipping is more expensive through them. I think it was like $40 shipping for 2 40lb bags through PFD vs $20 for 2 40lb bags through Amazon.

I don't live there, so I don't have directions, but my mother buys her Eagle Pack from either one of these places and I know I've seen Canidae there because my mom used to feed Felidae.

I guess it really depends on where you are, Amazon is charging 29 dollars in shipping (to VA) for 2 40lb bags of Canidae

Yeah, I've been to Bowling Green, Ky., before.  Never been to the one in Ohio, though (and I had no idea there was another ...).

Fangt1....I didin't take different locations into consideration [&:] .....but with what the price of Canidae is here, it would still be cheaper for me to order it online right now and pay $29 for shipping than to drive an hour to the store and pay full price.
 
It might be something for Boxermom1 to look into.

( & the selection sucks!!) I'm gonna try looking up Amazon's prices ( since it's cheaper... I'm sure thats where I'll be getting it from.)
Didn't get to ost my new topic I was talking about earlier (last night) about Bruiser's food allergy & not getting to use the Nutro Ultra after all..... had company come over & by the time they left it was bedtime... sorry, I'll try to get on that next, becuz of course... I  could use your all's inputs again on this matter also...I'm gonna post under Health, instead of here.  Thanks So Much !![sm=happy.gif]

I'd be interested to know what shipping will cost you if you decide to order online, and how the total cost to buy online would compare to what it would cost you to buy it at a store.

boxermom1, I read this and your allergy post and I'm wondering if your Petco carries [linkhttp://www.sensiblechoice.com/SCHPRD.HTM]Sensible Choice[/link]? The lamb & rice and chicken & rice formulas don't contain any of your suspected allergens. It a food that I've had great results with and it's in most Petcos.
