What goes with your dog's food?

HK is a mushy consistency, kind of like canned food really, especially the complete rations.  The Preference can be mixed with any meat so its consistency depends on what you add.

Dawnben, obviously she's not getting raw beef marrow bones for calcium.

Yogurt, canned dog food, jack mackeral, salmon, cheese and hard boiled eggs are regulars.  Leftover meats, veggies and fruits (that aren't too spicy or saucy).  Last week they each got a good-sized portion of filet mignon.  A raw turkey neck two or three times a week.  Home-made peanut butter dog biscuits and dehydrated sweet potato chews.  During the winter I supplement with fish oil, safflower oil and some Vitamin E.

Why?  Because just like for humans, I believe a diet that contains lots of variety is healthy for dogs.

Honest Kitchen is mooshy gooshy. That's why it tastes so good! RMBs come from a butcher, or the grocery store. I don't buy meat at Walmart, because it doesn't smell right.
