    Thinning blades

     I have an "older" dog hair thinning comb. I actually use it to shorten horse manes. It is the kind with a razor blade in side and you can change the blade. Well my blade is dull. I need a new one buy have no idea where to find them. Can anyone here assist me???

     The second link you posted is closest.

    Mine is a dog thinning comb. I remember getting it at a pet store that had lots of groomer tools. Oh heck I got it years ago. It has a black plastic handle, the head looks similar to the second link but it has screws that you undo to remove/change the blade. The blade is only exposed on one side. When I bought it I bought a box of blades. I knew exactly where I kept the spares. In my "wall box" in the top drawer. Well when my blade was getting dull, I went to get my spares. I could not find them. DH had made me a new wall box and the blades did not move over, when I checked my old box they were not there either. So I have NO idea what happened to them. 

    I don't think it takes standard razor blades, I think they are longer and slightly more narrow. The blades are two sided so when one side dulls you flip it over. This may be my second blade I am still on, or the first. It is DULL DULL DULL but I love the tool.
